Andy "Gandhi" Lewandowski '92 writes: "Just finished playing in a water polo league with a bunch of current team members and alumni, including Greg Reihman '92 and Miguel Kremenliev '95. Miguel showed up to the first tournament the night after a friend's bachelor party and his performance was impressive considering the circumstances. Generally, the three of us fared well, despite the fact that we were slower, weaker and generally less athletic than most of our competitors.
"I visited Greg and Kristen "All-American Swimmer" Clague Reihman '92 in late July and it will surprise no one that a) their boys are tall and b) they have named the play room in their lovely house "The Run-Around Room".
"I was fascinated by Kristen Krebs '93's description of the Morse Annex. There were a couple of details that she forgot to mention: First, there were nails that stuck out of the ceiling and came perilously close to the heads of the tall, lanky team members. The Morse Annex was also the site of Arge and Greg's rendition of "Black Magic Marker" to the tune of "Black Magic Woman".
"The marker in the song would later be used to deface Charles Knoll '92."

Nicole (Molzahn) DeBoom '94 writes:
"In the past year, Tim and I built and moved into a new home in Lyons, CO. I never believed I would live in a home that feels like I'm on vacation everyday. We lost one dog due to old age and while he's missed, his flatulence is not! Our other dog does not like the new backyard and escapes almost every day. We hear that she visits the neighbors and goes in their houses. She's not shy.
"On the job front, I had my best triathlon season yet. At 32, I'm getting stronger and faster. I won a bunch of races, including my first Ironman in Wisconsin in September. I also started a business this year called Skirt Sports (www.skirtsports.com). The goal of Skirt Sports is to promote fitness, and my first project is a women's clothing line called Triks which will include a slew of fun and trendy fitness and casual skirts. I have many grand plans for Skirt Sports, but one thing at a time. For all you men - sorry, no plans for the manskirt at this time.
"Tim and I are traveling a ton, getting involved in lots of events and projects around the world (Red Bull National Strategy meetings in Kona, HI coming up). Tim's race at Hawaii Ironman wasn't great (good for just about anyone else!). He didn't realize it, but he had a severe injury (his pain tolerance is off the charts). Turns out it was a stress fracture and after doing the marathon, it is now a broken leg. Damn. He's still my champ though! We have no plans for kids, just enjoying our life together.
"Unfortunately, I don't see enough Yalies. I swear I think about the good ole times ALL THE TIME! I miss everyone. I'm doing the Austin marathon in February. Anyone want to join me?"

"First, let me boast of a past accomplishment. I did the L.A. Triathlon, and I'll have you know I came out of the water 98th or 95th or some such number. Top 100 in any case...I think. My bike split, you ask? Ah, yes. Out of over 1800 participants, my split came in at 1,040th. No, my friends, that is not an extra zero. I was passed by all manner of people including a young girl on a Schwinn (for the record, I don't think she was an official entrant.) Frank will be proud to know that I still can't negative split anything.
"On the personal front- I'm doing an Equity play up in Santa Barbara called "The Real Thing" which closed on October 31st. I was also in a film called "Tattoo, A Love Story" which is out in most video stores now after a short theatrical release. It won The Grand Jury Prize and The Audience Award at The Florida Film Festival. I highly recommend it- if for no other reason than there is a brief scene of me in a bondage suit. It's a good look for me.
"I also just wrapped a film called "Touched" with Jenna Elfman. As an FYI- "just wrapped" is actor speak which translates into 'I'm unemployed again or, at best, I'm doing theatre which pays slightly less than the Yale Dining Halls.' Roughly."

Alexis (Lerner) Katz '95 writes:
"Andrew Katz and I were married on September 5, 2004 in Park City Utah. Like most of us swimmers, I spent my childhood summers training and never got the chance to go to summer camp. So this was my chance- we created Camp Wasatch (for the mountain range outside of Park City), and took over Hotel Park City for Labor Day weekend. The activities included hiking, mountain biking, barbecuing, hot tubbing, karaoke and Color War (the Green Groom's team vs. the Blue Bride's team competing in the usual kickball, tug of war, capture the flag...), a pre-ceremony golf scramble (Tricia Meyer '96 and Casey Whalen '96 did REMARKABLY well but Susan Casey '96 deserves the big props for keeping me laughing and chill at the lodge). It was loads of fun, and breathtakingly beautiful.
"Andrew and I are still in New York City and I am entering my fifth year as a Manhattan DA (sort of Law and Order but it's rare that I pick up a case and take it through to verdict in under an hour with commercial breaks). Andrew is in marketing at PepsiCo working on the Mountain Dew brand."

Topher Nichols '96 writes:
"Kelsey and I were engaged at the beginning of October up in Aspen. She works as an architect and is self-employed, which is nice. We've no notes on dates, but it will likely be a small one next fall up in the mountains. We'll see how it goes . . . apparently there's a lot of planning that has to go in to these things? I'm not sure; most of my married guy friends tell me that I just have to pick the band and taste some cake, though. I'm into that.
"Otherwise, I'm in Denver and working on pursuing a fellowship in neurology -- stroke and endovascular / interventional neurology to be exact. It's something like doing heart catheterizations for the brain. We'll see how that goes as the application stuff starts later in the year.
"Best wishes to all."

John Mendell '96 writes:
"I recently competed in the final stage of the Playa Del Run, a weekly swim/run series in Los Angeles, with Jason Rosenbaum '95 and Erika Aklufi '98 (John Barbie '98 declined the invitation, claiming Carl Weathers did not have enough time to get him into fighting shape).
"Let's just say the smart money was on Erika in the 1500m swim / 5K run. She finished third in the entire race (of about 300 competitors) and won the Women's High Point for the series. Erika has since won the Santa Barbara Triathlon and the Women's Top Age Group at the Los Angeles Triathlon.
"Despite being two of the only competitors without wetsuits, Rosie and I finished the swim in the top twelve, but got passed in the run like Ted Stedem '95 in a 3000m timed swim. Swearing never to run again, I just did the swim leg of a Half Ironman relay at the Red Rock Triathlon in Tempe, AZ. I had the third fastest swim split in the 1,200 competitor field but, amusingly, also had the slowest transition time of all the relays. As often as possible during the swim, I performed the patented "Slow Down and Kick the Swimmer Behind You Twice in the Head" move that The Woodman '93 routinely performed on me freshman year."

Chris Cushman '97 writes:
"I finally got tired of working for companies in their final six to twelve months of existence, so I broke down and got a real job at Microsoft. I've been working on the new music downloading service that will compete with Apple's iTunes- coming to a browser near you very soon.
"My wife Angela is just finishing up her first year of law school- so with my new job, her studying, and each of us reading "The Three Little Pigs" 20 times a day, things are quite busy but fun.
"Our son Ethan is almost 2 now, and can recite the alphabet and count to 20. As a former mathematician, I have aspirations to introduce him to the complex, real, and rational fields in no time. I've also been taking him swimming quite frequently since he was 6 months old. He definitely digs the water, and is showing potential inheriting an awesome first 150 in a 200.
"Also, we bought a new house last spring that is much closer to my work and Angela's school, and has quite a bit more space than our last house- a necessity that became painfully clear when Ethan started walking.
"I recently ran into Jeremy Fain '99, who was in Seattle briefly - we all had barbecue at Brian and Edie Hall '97's new place. Let us know if you're coming through the Emerald City."

"Hi everyone! After living in Detroit for four years in medical school (D-town Baby!), I am currently living in New York City. I am in my third year (out of four) of Emergency Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate/Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. I'm deep in the heart of Brooklyn, knee deep in gunshot wounds, stab wounds, and every other crazy emergency you can think of. I am lovin' the Ghetto Life at work, and living in Manhattan and lovin' the fabulous life in the city. Congratulations to all who have new babies and had recent weddings! It is so fun to see all of the pictures and hear that everyone is doing so well!"

Heather Erickson '99 writes:
"If you're looking for news on the more boring work front, I just started a position in upstate New York a few weeks ago." Heather was named President of CNY MedTech, a newly founded not-for-profit regional trade organization focused on the near-term commercialization of medical technologies. She will be responsible for managing recruitment efforts and identifying and facilitating partnership opportunities among members. Heather will be based in Syracuse, NY and aims "to escape from the CNY hinterland and down to New Haven this fall - it would be great to see everyone who wasn't on campus for reunions in the spring."

Brendan Mulvey '99 writes:
"Last time I checked, I'm still monogamous, employed at JPMorgan, and kicking it in the East Village. I have a lot more time on my hands now that I've finished my work on the Sharpton campaign. I'm also busy raising capital for a carnival-themed floral shop downtown, to be opened after I finish my master tome on my hometown of Montclair, NJ, tentatively entitled Rainbows and Puppy Dogs: An Insider's Guide to New Jersey's Private Utopia.
"Starting in November, I will join the Blue Man Group and their fourth player, the Blue Guy Without Pants. Advance ticket sales are slow but I blame this on genetics. In a related note, I'd also like to thank Lisa Sweet '00 and company for the opportunity to dance at Alison Durley '00's bachelorette party. You guys were fantastic."

"My son Jimmy Luce was born January 24, 2004. He tipped the scales at 10 lbs 12 oz! He's now 9 months old and does a lot of crawling and babbling. I passed the New York and Connecticut law bars last year, but for now I'm enjoying staying at home with Jimmy. We live in Norwalk, CT and my husband commutes into the city. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Princeton game!"
